What About Medicare?
One80 believes in “health care” (we help prevent pain and injury and skip the physician visits). Medicare physical therapy is only “sick care” (you need to have an injury and see a physician first). Because of our proactive stance on pain and injury, we are non-participating with Medicare.
Most of our 65+ patients see us for regular health and wellness “tune ups.” You can’t do that with Medicare PT. These every other month visits are much more cost, time and health effective than seeing a Medicare PT 2-3 times a week for 4-6 weeks after you’re hurt.
