The One80 System Course

The patent pending One80 System is a 40-hour intensive course in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, manual therapy and functional exercise practices built upon a scientific base that require students to think critically while applying unique concepts.

Students will be immersed in the ground breaking One80 System and, upon course completion, will have the ability to test and manually treat over 150 muscles while implementing new thought processes that improve outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Course Level: Intermediate  •  Hours: 40 Total, 26 Lab  •  CEUs: 40

Course Objectives – Upon course completion, students will be able to:

  • Describe the differences between the One80 System and other methods of examination and injury management.
  • Understand the scientific root-cause of injury allowing them to prescribe biomechanically sound injury rehabilitation prevention exercises.
  • Draw logical conclusions from information collection leading to the implementation of correct treatment strategies.
  • Explain how aspects of human physiology, anatomy and biomechanics apply to the One80 System functional screen, Neuromuscular Facilitation Tests (NFT), manual therapy techniques, and functional exercise prescription.
  • Apply aspects of critical thinking to the One80 System’s evaluation and treatment strategies.
  • Implement all aspects of the One80 System, including testing and palpating over 150 muscles.

Upon registration, students will be sent course material focused on the scientific basis of the One80 System. The purpose of this material is to review information that was most likely covered during undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses work. In order to be prepared, please spend several hours of independent time studying this and any other related material. The more students are prepared entering Day 1 of the course, the more quickly we can move towards One80 System specifics and lab time.
